Vegas Baby!

Something really really retro today :)
One of my colleagues travelled to Vegas for her holidays and OFCOURSE.... Elvis...Vegas...retro!!!
Here is my suitcase giftbox and card:

The little suitcase giftbox is a Lori Whitlock design.
I decorated the backing paper with a retro Elvis stamp, stamped in black and pink.
Embellished with ribbon, washi tape & Pompom trimming.

CAS Colours & Sketches #230

Hi Peeps
Its with great excitement that I can say I'm the Guest Designer at CAS Colours & Sketches for the month of July! Woop Woop!! :)
So, to kick off this month, it's a colour challenge:



Here is my card:

Stamp set used - Magical Day - Neat & Tangled.
Coloured with Promarkers.
Embellished with clear glitter.

A few guidelines for the challenge:

• Clean & Simple - For our challenges, "Clean and Simple" is defined as "uncluttered, with white or open space, and minimal layers and embellishments".
• Cards Only - We are a card making challenge.  You must create a Clean and Simple styled card showing your own artwork.  Please do not submit scrapbook pages, artists' trading cards, 3-D items, tags, cards using digital images coloured by computerized methods, etc.
• Just the Challenge Colors - For our colour challenges, you must use only the stated challenge colours, plus you may use white, cream, kraft, brown, grey, or black cardstock for card layers and those colours of ink for sentiments and image outlines.  We use Stampin' Up! colour names for reference.  However, you are welcome to use any companies' products as long as you match the challenge colours as closely as possible.

Shark! Shark!

Hi Peeps
I just adore my new stamp set I treated myself to for Xmas. It's the Hello Chum stamp from Avery Elle. Both cards are coloured with Promarkers.

I made two cards, here is the the second. The sentiment is in Afrikaans. "Haai" is the Afrikaans word for shark and is pronounced much the same as "Hi" in English. So the translation is "Hi There!". Wordplay is such fun ;)

CASology: Cold

I'm totally excited to be invited to the CASology Challenge Blog as their Guest Designer for this week's card challenge .
The challenge this week is "COLD".

I kept this card simple and challenged myself with the use of just one stamp, minimal colours , lots  of white space and only two layers.

This gorgeous stamp is from Mo Mannings - "Snow Pals".
Coloured with Pro Markers and embellished with 3d gloss.

The inside of the card reads ... "That's Thank You in Eskimo ".
Super cute!! :)

I absolutely adore this stamp set, so easy to colour and just an overload of cuteness :)

Now, I don't actually have any of the stampsets available and the cranberry colour ( as above) SEEMED VERY ORANGE to me on the picture so that is what I've used. Apologies DT, I'll blame the resolution on the PC & the laptop ;) It'sonly after that I noticed it says cranberry :)

Early Kisses

An early Valentine's card. Only reason being is the gorgeous creature is always around and it wouldn't be a surprise if he saw what I was making. and.. I may add, even though he doesn't seem to be much interested in crafting he always does seem to notice when , what he calls "suspicious" parcels, arrive and its filled with crafty goodies hahahaha
